Sleep Well for Kids Under the Sea Review and Giveaway

When I did my yoga training we were blessed to experience a guided meditation.  It was great.  Relaxing, destressing something I wish I could do more now that I have 3 kids.  So I was really interested in checking out a mediation CD for the kiddo's!

It is the queen herself! I can not believed that this woman has been rocking my speakers for my entire life, well at least since elementary school. I'm not sure how she does it but she is timeless. So, I feel blessed to get a chance to check out her latest album: Rebel Heart!!

Guitar strap

I know their are many music mama's out there.  Maybe you play something yourself, maybe you love to listen to music all day, or maybe you have a little musician in your home.  I love music, I love to listen to it during the day, and I even love to attempt to play it on the guitar.  Let me first just clarify, I attempt to play music on the guitar.  I am a beginner and will probably remain in this level of skill for the next few years until the kids are in school and I have more free time to really learn.  Still we pull out the guitar and sing silly made up songs while I strum away.  It can be hard to do this with a bunch of kids running around your legs.

Mary J. Blige London Sessions Review

I don't know about you, but their are just some artists whose songs stick with you no matter the years that go by.  One of those for me is Mary J. Blige and I'm sure you all know the song I'm talking about, No More Drama.  Let's face it, around the holidays that song may need to come out more than normal.  So, I jumped at the chance to hear her latest tracks, London Sessions.

#ToBeLoved Micheal Buble's Latest Album Review

To Be Loved, out now, finds the Grammy winner covering songs by Frank Sinatra, the Bee Gees, Jackson 5, Elvis Presley, Van Morrison, and more. In the mix of golden standards are four original songs co-written by Bublé, dipping into his personal life for inspiration.  I admit that I was nervous that he would venture away from his typical crooning or the classics and take on a few other music era's plus writing his own songs.  It is not something that always works out for the best.

So, I'm not sure why, but my kids are huge fans of tmnt.  Please tell me you remember the movies, the shows, and the songs so I don't feel totally old.  That said if my kid's have their way the turtles will be making a comeback at least they have in this family.  

Phoenix Symphony Review

 I'm always looking for something fun to do with the kids.  I like to expose them to a vast array of experiences so they can better decide what they like and don't like when they are older.  Luckily for us, the local symphony puts on kids productions.  It was a blast!

What music is your flavor?  I like a little of everything.  Lately, I've been enjoying the throw-back sounds some artist are coming out with.  The songs that pay homage to the old sounds of musicians breaking through traditional sounds for something new.  I always find it interesting when an artist takes the leap and the risk of trying to explore these artists sounds in their own way.

Kylie Minogue, "The Abbey Road Sessions" Review

Kylie Minogue just released her newest album, "The Abbey Road Sessions".   I was recorded in London's legendary Abbey Road Studios with her band and a full orchestra for some of the tracks.  I imagine the studio is the inspiration for the name of the album, but it could also be that the album is 16 of her classic songs re-imaged and re-arranged.  Check out what I think of Kylie's Latest album.
