For those of you who couldn't tell, I am a tea-aholic. I know I have a problem, but it is very hard to stop. Even harder during cold/flu season when I need that boost of anti-oxidants. If I'm honest I don't really attempt to curve any cravings I get for tea, unless I forget to buy some at the store and run out. Instead I force my obsession onto my family. That's right I bust out the Green and Red Tea and get to brewing hiding tea spoons of these immunity ninja's in whatever they are drinking. Red of course for the kids since it's a root brew and not caffeinated and green for everyone else. The thing I hate about making tea, is how much of it gets wasted!

Vinium Bottle Stopper Review

I'm on a budget, so I buy cheap wine. I would love to get the good stuff, but let's face it when it comes down to spending more on wine or getting the better formula or other baby/kid item the baby/kid item wins every time. So, I'm always looking for ways to make what I can afford taste more like the good stuff, or in the least preserve the flavor it does have when I first open it!

3 in 1 Wine Chiller, Aerator, Pourer with Self Closing Lid
I enjoy having a glass of wine now and again. While I tend to favor the reds, a lot of spring foods are better paired with a white wine. I just don't have the time to take the bottle off the cabinet, chill it, decanter it, and then pour a glass. I usually don't even decide to drink one until later in the day when I have a better idea at the type of evening I will have. Will everyone go to bed on time, is the evening going to be a rush, or will I remember to have a glass at the end of it all? So, what is a wine lover to do when they can't properly prep for a white wine?Monday, March 16, 2015

Francois et Mimi 20-Ounce Double Wall Vacuum Insulated Stainless Steel Sports Water Bottles with Leak-Proof Flip Top
Living in Arizona the easiest thing to do is get dehydrated and not realize it. You don't always realize just how dry the heat is here until it sneaks up on you and suddenly your lips are chapped, your skin needs lotion, and your pee is yellow. That is why I learned quickly to always have water on hand. Now that I have kids I find it is easier to us a container than fill a cup that could spill and can't go with me on errands.

Francois et Mimi Stainless Steel Mugs
Seriously, I drink less coffee now as a mom than I did when I was working. This could be because the hours I'm working are kid driven, but still more normal than the one's I used to work at the hospital or even my post graduate jobs. Course at the hospital and after I worked evenings and nights. It wasn't until the last outside the house job that I worked days and then I picked up all the hours I could after that, so coffee was a lifeline. Thank I became pregnant and had to give up the coffee ghost. So, I started a new habit Tea. Now that the kids are born and running about my habit has become a mix of tea and coffee. No matter the habit I still need something to put it into!

Organic Matcha-Green Tea Powder Review
I love tea and am a big fan of green tea for both the energy boost and the anti-oxidant boost. I love to treat myself with those Starbucks Green Tea Frappacino's however who has time with 3 kids to make a Starbucks run? Maybe if it had a drive through, but going in and out just for a Frap is just to much to justify the trip for me. So, when I saw a chance to test a product that would allow me to make my own Green Tea cold blend, I couldn't see a downside.

Mighty Leaf Tea Review
I love tea! The winter is the perfect season for making a mug of tea and setting down in a comfy chair to take in the decorations while you read a good book and allow the aroma's of a good tea to sooth you while the liquid warms you from the cold. Their is just something about a good mug of tea that can help you steal a calm moment, find energy to push through the last of the day, comfort in a good book, or just wash down whatever you are eating that brings a satisfaction the can be missed during one's day. I love to have my cup of tea in the morning and that is when I did my review, in the morning.

Fresh Squeezed Lemonade
Each year we end up with a huge crop of lemons. It may be on account of our three lemon trees, they look more like bushes, but that is another post for another day. The question then becomes a two part question. First, just how much lemon can my family take before their faces end up with permanent sour lips? And second, just what in the world to I make with all this fresh squeezed lemon juice?
