TeaVas Tea Bell Review

For those of you who couldn't tell, I am a tea-aholic.  I know I have a problem, but it is very hard to stop.  Even harder during cold/flu season when I need that boost of anti-oxidants.  If I'm honest I don't really attempt to curve any cravings I get for tea, unless I forget to buy some at the store and run out.  Instead I force my obsession onto my family.  That's right I bust out the Green and Red Tea and get to brewing hiding tea spoons of these immunity ninja's in whatever they are drinking.  Red of course for the kids since it's a root brew and not caffeinated and green for everyone else.  The thing I hate about making tea, is how much of it gets wasted! Mommy Moments with Abby's review of TeaVas Tea Bell:  So, to pull off my hiding act I usually only need to brew one cup/mug of tea.  This is where I run into problems, most tea bags pack the punch of more than one mug of tea in them.  To use a tea bag for one mug is sort of a waste of good tea leaves.  I was so excited to open this baby up! 


I got to control how much of my favorite immunity boosters I would brew up.  A teaspoon or two usually is all I need for a mug of tea.  So easy to use, just plop in my tea leaves, pop on the end of it and set it in my mug.  A minute or two go buy a little swirl at the end for good measure and out I pull this little guy. Plunk him down on his own little red tea rest and I am all set to spike everyone's drink with some antioxidant goodness! 

Very easy to rinse off and clean just to use again and again through out the day, did I mention I have a small tea addiction? 

I have been wanting a tea bell for a long time so I can brew just a mug at a time.  I never seemed to find one that I liked.  The egg shaped ones would roll all over leaving a tea stain and mess all over the surface you tried to rest them on.  The individual disposable bags never closed all the way leaving the last few sips of tea full of leaves.  If you've ever drank tea with leaves in it you know the smile after is not a good look, leaves all over your gums and teeth!  I think that is what I like so much about this one, it doesn't travel around the countertop, easy to clean, and the leaves don't escape! 

This is so a must have for all tea lovers!  Perfect for a stocking.  I wouldn't mine getting a few more for when guests come to visit, no one ever wants the same flavor of tea for some reason so this would be a big tea saver.
