Sometimes putting the kids to sleep seems to make me more tired then them. I need something to help my brain stay awake while soothing them and creating a calm environment.
Mommy Moments with Abby's Review of Hair Metal Goes Lullaby by Jammy Jams: I grew up in the 80's so for me there is no avoiding the Hair Metal memories. So, a CD of 80s songs that I grew up with is right up my alley. Now, they have switched out the heavier sounds for a more soothing sound, but the same rhythm and beats that you are used to can be found. This leaves you singing softly songs you remember to your little one, helping your brain to work. I mean work, because if you are like me you will find yourself singing the main lyrics over and over trying to strain to remember what in the world the rest of the songs lyrics. It is probably my only complaint about this compilation, that it doesn't include the lyrics. Trying to remember them did keep me awake while soothing my little ones. It has become sort of a personal challenge to come up with the rest of the lyrics besides the chorus to more than a few of these songs. Check them out and challenge yourself, how well do you know your Hair Metal Bands?
