Reusable Food Pouches Review

Babies eat a lot of food.  Problem is, you usually can't grab something for them when your on a long trip and maybe hitting up the drive thru's for a hike or picnic in the mountains.  It's a total bummer, especially if you make your own baby food.  It means having to pack a bunch of glass jars which can break on a hike or even just in the car leaving a huge mess or a ton of Tupperware which takes up a lot of space in a bag or cooler.  So, what is a mom to do who makes her own baby food?

I just got my first smart phone about a month ago and am still learning to use it and work with it's size.  In the past I just slipped my little flip phone in a cup holder or left it in my pocket when I was in the car.  Now, the new phone doesn't exactly fit in the cup holder without falling out when you take pretty much any corner and it's too big to leave in a jean pocket.  Kinda a problem when you drive a big SUV and it falls on the floor, it pretty much just lives their the rest of the trip because the car is too big to just lean across at the next light.  So, much for the navigation app that was helping me to find the place I was trying to go!

Ladybug Clip Review

My little one is teething and tends to lose his teethers left and right.  I've found that freezing or chilling some pacifiers can work while I'm disinfecting the teethers.  I have some great teething necklaces, but when I'm not holding him the teethers tend to get lost.  Still teether, chilled pacifier they all seem to drop and then I'm either searching his seat for them or trying to figure out where he lost them on his crawling expedition around the house.  It is such a pain!  

Fabness Review

Since becoming a mom one of my favorite things to decorate the house with is art, pictures, basically anything that has to do with my kids and family.  They make the best focal points on a wall and make any house into a home.  This fall we went up into the fall leaves and took some photo's that I just love.  I've been trying to find a way to display one of the family that happens to be my favorite!

Miss Cakes is really getting into cooking.  We have even set aside a cubbard just for her to store her cooking supplies.  She loves to get new supplies and loves testing them out.  All I hear is about how she is a real baker and needs to make sure it is working so she can cook like a master chef!

I hate bug season!  Ever since I was a kid I've always felt like I was more of a buffet line during this season than anything else.  The itching after being bit is terrible and I hate having to cover myself in pepto-pink from the calamine lotion that never works permanently.  Sadly, my kids seem to inherit my buffet line blood and they love to play outside which is a bad combo!

It is with great sadness that we disclose the untimely passing of our rescued green sea turtle, Frye. Frye had many long-term health issues and unfortunately succumbed to his injuries last week. Unable to live in the wild, Frye was given a second chance at SEA LIFE and brought many magical moments to our guests. We welcome your favorite Frye photos and memories.

It is hot in AZ, but we haven't quite gotten the night light hours yet.  So, to keep things cool we go outside early in the day and then again late in the evening.  This way we still get the outside time and some Vit. D, but don't get burned in the process.  The problem is that the kids want to ride their bikes and I don't trust other people to slow down on a cul-de-sac.  For this reason we teach the kids to get on the side walk when ever they see a car at all, but I also want to make sure the cars see them. So, reflectors on the tires, and light colored bikes help, but why not add a little more?

Blogging on the computer to review products and share my thoughts with you, and on occasion working on a plethora of work data sheets for the daycare.  All need doing and most have to wait for the kiddo's to go to bed before I can get started.  Added problem I've been having is a baby sleeping near by who doesn't exactly enjoy lights on while sleeping, plus the hubby who is trying to snore on the other side of me doesn't like the lights to be on either.   What is a busy mom to do?

I love to BBQ, but I hate to do it for just one meal!  It just takes so much time setting it up and then cleaning it up afterward.  You have to not only prep the grill, but the meat as well for that yummy BBQ taste!  So, when I BBQ I fill the grill and make dinner for the week.  This way we can have something delicious and home cooked guaranteed every night and their is a variety since so much can be done with marinating meat! Still, that annoying scraping and scrubbing of the grill after cooking is such a drag!

I live in Arizona.  The soil is desert soil and sucks for growing.  Add the lack of rain, extreme heat, and my black (not green) thumb and most plants don't survive with us.  So, I'm going to try this year to make it easy on myself.  We are going to use soil plants think is yummy, lots of water, and we are avoiding the heat by growing indoors.  Maybe this year I will be able to get something to grow that isn't drought tolerant!

I have always wanted a bread box!  I don't know why, but I love the idea of one sitting on top of a counter.  That said, I didn't really know how to use a bread box?  Do you just stick the bread you bought still in the bag inside, do you have to place anything else in the box, and other than looking interesting on a counter what is the purpose? I had to do a little research before I knew exactly what it is used for.
