Arizona is hot and on doggy paws it can be brutal. It sucks but a lot of the landscaping around here is rock or some other desert motif, we had some faux grass installed, but all of it under the sun equals hot on the puppy paws!
Mommy Moments with Abby's review of Doggie Lawn Plus: We have 3 large rescue dogs and a lot of rock as the faux grass is a kid zone thus off limits for doggy business! Problem is it gets hot fast here and hot rocks on puppy paws is no funny for those puppies. Doggie Lawn had an option that was actually big enough for out puppies.
They sent a large tray that holds sod that they send. The sod is made for puppies to piddle on. It is a little heavy, sod is sod, but I was able to maneuver it and situate it with a little muscle. Make sure you are up to it or get someone to help you. Also, you may get a little dirty, but nothing like you would if you got regular sod from the store. I was surprised that I didn't get more messy while I was putting the sod in the tray and moving it around to fit! It also comes with gloves which helps from getting any sod under your nails! So, less dirt, nothing under your nails makes for easier placement in your tray!
It felt great, real grass for those puppy paws! No more rock standing for my guys! Better yet Doggie Lawn offers a service to deliver fresh sod to your door at the interval of your choice! This way you are always with fresh grass for your puppies to piddle on! Grass is biodegradable to no worries about building up the trash, just toss it on the compost pile!
I really like that this is portable and can come with you if you should move, just order sod to be delivered to your new place! I have 3 pups and they all seem to really enjoy this, though two of them seem to desire turning into a puppy bed and not a piddle pad. If you have stubborn pups Doggie Lawn also offers help and suggestions on how to train your pup to use the lawn for going potty.
