2 USB Reading Lamp with Flexible Gooseneck Review

If you are a mom and you have done anything that isn't kid related like try to read a book, study for a class, worked, blogged, or anything else than chances are you can relate.  I often find myself burning the midnight oil getting last minute things done.  Studying old text books to refresh myself in a degree that I no longer use. Blogging on the computer to review products and share my thoughts with you, and on occasion working on a plethora of work data sheets for the daycare.  All need doing and most have to wait for the kiddo's to go to bed before I can get started.  Added problem I've been having is a baby sleeping near by who doesn't exactly enjoy lights on while sleeping, plus the hubby who is trying to snore on the other side of me doesn't like the lights to be on either.   What is a busy mom to do?
Mommy Moments with Abby's review of 2 Reading Lamp with flexible Gooseneck:  So, I'm sure this issue is one many of you can relate with, you still have work to get done before you officially clock out for your night shift as a mom, but the baby and hubby are asleep or falling asleep and turning on a light to get it all done is out of the question.  For me placing code or copying and pasting or the half a dozen other laptop processes that I need to execute sometimes require me to look at my computer screen so I don't end up hitting the wrong ones and, oh I don't know say, flip your screen view so it's suddenly upside down and you are now trying to google how to fix an upside down screen while it is upside down (not easy to do, as an aside if you have this issue shift or control + ALT and then hit the arrow's until view is back to normal).  Yeah a little light on this particular subject is probably for the best.  I was excited to check out this product as my solution.

It hooks right into the USB hub on the computer,  Than, I can hit a switch and have either one of the lights on for the nights when the baby is sleeping lightly or both on for the heavy sleeping mama's trying to read/study moments.    It worked very well and provided a great amount of light that I could adjust to aim it closer to my keyboard or my book depending on my need at the time.  It is small and easy to slip into a drawer in a night stand, Placing in a sock missing it's mate then in the draw makes for easy finding when you go back to get it out.

That said it is bright enough to use on a large textbook sized book if you need when both lights are on.  I really love that you can use one or two lights as sometimes I only need a little light and other times I need more.  I think of it as my book size light adjustment.  I can see this coming in handy for those going to college where the professor likes to give slide shows or PowerPoint presentations and the room is usually pretty dark!  This would be great to see your keyboard, textbook, or notebook for notes or just to follow along.  I like it and am now using it often, in fact using it right now as I write this review!
