Review by Mom Does Reviews:
First,I would like to thank Pomelo, the creators of My Kid's Health app for the opportunity to review this much needed application. I also need to thank my sister Beth (from Ask the Computer Lady) for letting me use her iPad so I could get familiar with the app. I was excited to get to try a new app that I'm sure all new moms and dads will love. Even from the very beginning when you are setting up the app, it is super easy to use. You can set up tabs for each child. It even has a place for your cutie's picture. The graphics make it look like a notebook or spiral bound chart. It is so well organized. Everything is easy to find. The colors are easy on the eyes. I love that you can not only keep track of when you child had a vaccination but it also reminds you when they are due again. You can sync your information from My Kid's Health with your iPad calendar. Instead of having all those appointment cards decorating your fridge, you can keep track of all upcoming appointments in My Kid's Health. Another great feature is the reminder. You can set the app up to remind you about upcoming appointments. As a mom and healthcare worker, keeping track of your child's medical history is so important. Be sure to include any past illnesses, drug allergies and medical conditions so if you ever need to know them in an emergency, they are all there in the app. We all know that when something bad happens to our children, we tend to forget our own name. The only thing I didn't like about My Kid's Health is that it wasn't around when my son was little. I loved to keep all the growth charts to see how he was growing compared to other kids his age. Instead of all those papers that I kept in his scrapbook, I could have kept a chart that showed his growth history page like this:
Mom Does Reviews gives iPad app My Kid's Health a big 5 out of 5 stars! It almost makes me want to have a new baby so
