Birding families! Check out what is happening on Saturday! This Saturday, Desert Rivers Audubon OwlWatch coordinator Stacey Burleigh will lead a tour of the burrowing owl habitat at Zanjero Park, 3785 South Lindsay Road. Gilbert, AZ 85297, at 5:30pm. Meet us in the park parking lot.
We'll learn about the current status of the 10 burrowing owls released last month in association with our habitat partner, Wild at Heart. There will also be an update on some wild owls moving into burrows as well as news about park visitors' experiences & suggested wildlife photography etiquette.
Enjoy a breezy, fun & informative evening with Desert Rivers Audubon and our burrowing owl community Memorial Day Weekend!
