We decided on a Pot Roast. It was only 2 pages long and was a happy medium of easy but fancy with a spice rub for the meat.
We pulled out the vegetable ingredients and set my son up to chopping them with the butter knife, he did just turn 4 after all so beginner knifes are a must. Next, my daughter got to mixing the spices together for the rub. Once that was done she tenderized the meat which she loved to do with our tiger claws. From here she got to massaging in the spices so the meat was nice and tender. We placed it in the Pot Crock and my son added the veggies all around, a pour of the broth was all that was left.
The kids had a blast cooking this delicious meal, and it was delicious with the meat literally falling apart with just a fork! I loved that it was only 2 pages long with the first page being the ingredients. If you have a busy schedule, but like a good hot meal then check out this cook book! Added mommy bonus, the meals are set up to help you lose weight! Mommy say what?! We will definitely be using this cookbook frequently!
