De-Stress and Sooth your skin with some home remedies!
I don't know about you but sometimes I need to decompress, perk up, or treat myself and my body, but who can afford a spa? Here are a few of my home remedies/recipes that help you save a few bucks and still treat yourself!
Perk up your bath: Ease your aches with a bath that you mix 1/2 cup lemon juice, 1/2 cupe lime juice, 6 drops lemon extract and 1/2 cup baking soda. It is perfect for a morning bath after a long night, perks you right up!
Sooth your skin and relax: Ease your itchy skin or a babies diaper rash by putting 1/2 cup oatmeal with 6 drops of lavendar extract in the bath, be careful of the alcohol content on some extracts!
De-stink your feet: With a large soaking bowl of 1/2 cup freshly chopped strawberries, 1 teaspoon minced mint leaves (3 or 4 whole leaves will do), 1 cup of milk, and fill the rest with warm water, mix and soak your feet while you eat, read, or watch a movie! Soothes the skin and gives your feet a nice minty strawberry scent!
