Gummy Bear Silicone Candy Mold Promotion

My daughter is very into cooking right now.  Add to that, she is a kid and all kids are candy freaks.  That is why I'm excited to make some Gummi Bears with her.  She can use the dropper, pick the flavors, and I can do any stove work.  This way it's something we can do together, but she can do most of it herself!

Baking Time Fondant Rolling Pin

Since she was young we have called my daughter Miss Cakes.  She has now become a baking fanatic and is the resident Little Chef in this house.  We are exploring her interests with new recipes and as her skills and interest grows we add to her cooking tools.  She recently asked about exploring some desserts and while I do not have monster cooking chops, I have pulled up the Google and started to find recipe's for the kid's.  Naturally anything with sugar has my son jumping in on the fun!

Slow Cooker Recipe Book Giveaway!

Who wants to win the Slow Cooker Recipe book that I reviewed HERE? Check out this awesome giveaway and get yourself ready for some amazingly delicious meals that will not only be good to eat, but good for you as well! Check it out below!

Slow Cooker Recipes for Beginners: 55 Fast and Easy Slow Cooker Recipes to Lose Weight Fast [Kindle Edition ebook]

My kids have become obsessed with Master Chef Junior.  Specifically, my daughter who we have called Miss Cakes since she was a baby.  True to her name, she loves to bake.  It can be hard to make a nice dinner though while running around with the needs of the day.  Especially when the little's are doing a bulk of the work.  So, a crock pot meal is perfect, we start it and set it up in the morning while working on measurements, addition, subtraction, and other number recognition, plus dinner is ready once we get home after whatever event we have going on that evening.  This mom can't think up recipes off the top of her head so a little help is always welcome.

Fresh Squeezed Lemonade

Photobucket Each year we end up with a huge crop of lemons.  It may be on account of our three lemon trees, they look more like bushes, but that is another post for another day.  The question then becomes a two part question.  First, just how much lemon can my family take before their faces end up with permanent sour lips? And second, just what in the world to I make with all this fresh squeezed lemon juice?

Naturade Pea Protein Review

Protein is huge for brain growth and muscle growth.  I've been trying to eat better and to start lifting weights more.  Because my brain and my body need protein for functioning and growth I've been looking for a protein shake.  My husbands is too much for me, being as it's geared to his more intense power-lifting work out and harder on my stomach.

Treating those Ear Infections and Swimmers Ear

Okay Moms, it's time we gear up for pool season and the potential ear infection or swimmers ear. I have 2 little one's under 3 so finding a remedy that is safe for them is amazingly important. I managed to find two treatments for ear infections and one can also be used to help prevent swimmers ear in little ones under 3. They aren't 100% cures, but will help in the long run. Remember, I'm not a doctor, just a mom so consult a doctor before using these as I don't know your children or their bodies. I'm just offering these to you as something to ask your doctor about since they seem to help my kids.

St. Patrick’s Day Fun for the Entire Family by Megan Gates

Fun ideas for children on St. Patrick’s Day can included making crafts, playing games, and even having a St. Patrick’s Day themed party. Some crafts a child can make on St. Patrick’s Day can include making a leprechaun hat. It can be made with items such as green construction paper, felt, glitter, and tape. They can also make a St. Patrick’s Day flag and decorate it with rainbows, a pot of gold, and shamrocks. They can incorporate phrases such as Happy St. Patrick’s Day or Luck of the Irish.

Why Not Nacho's?

As many of you know I have been struggling with a 2 year old that pretty much has herself on the Atkins’s diet plus, chips, and after a recent grandparent visit fishes (those cheddar crackers).  So, I’ve been searching for ways to get more healthy proteins, veggies, and food groups in her.  I came up with an idea yesterday after being asked for the billionth time “chips?” and not looking forward to that nights round of dietary debates.
