A house should be full of love so why not express it on the walls. The definition of love is a great message to help the house remember during hard times during good times, that is is full of love. I personally love the new wall decal trend in decorating and have put up decals in both my kids room so now it was time to think about the rest of the house. So, I headed over to Urban Walls to check out what they had.

Puppet Masters!
Yesterday, we made a Puppet Theater, so what about the puppets? You can make puppets out of anything. In the past I made some out of socks you can check out HERE, but here are a few more idea's! Kids can pretend with almost anything and they can really pretend with things they make themselves.

A new use for old Panty Hose
I have noticed a new fashion trend with woman wearing Panty Hose again, thank you Kate Middleton. The problem is that those darn hose get runs and now what?! As we embrace the new Hose movement I figured I'd offer a few uses for the hose that gets a run in it. Here are just some of the things you can do with the old hose:

Bunk Beds sure have changed!
How many of you have a large family? Basically, how many have more than 2 kids? I have been thinking a lot about this lately. No, family and friends we are not expecting, this year, but I would like a large family. Eventually, we will move up as my husband advances in his job and potentially move to an area where housing is more expensive. This means that while each kid has their own room now, plus guest rooms their will be a time when that isn't possible. How do you manage it? If I am going to bring the maybe we should have a larger family talk to the husband I want to have these details worked out.

Getting organized and taking Names!
So, this year I'm trying to get my life streamlined. I've got a recipe organizer, a daily calendar, and now clipix. I can save all the recipes in my organizer for easy access during meals. I record the doctor, vet, and trip plans on the calendar with everyone's special days to make sure I'm on top of the day to day family life. I save all the present ideas, crafts for the daycare, books I want to read, clothes I like, kids clothes I like, shoes I like, things the husband may like, potential items for the etsy store, potential doggy deals, and things I'd love in the home!

Sea Life in AZ's Sharks are back!!!!
The ocean tank project is completed! It has been filled with water and the sea creatures have begun to move back. Late Tuesday night the first wave of sharks returned to their home at SEA LIFE Arizona . The ocean tank has been undergoing a redesign since September 2011, when all the sea creatures that reside in that tank were transported to our sister facility at SEA LIFE Carlsbad . The 360 ocean tunnel is not completed quite yet, but we are hoping it should be done by the end of next week.

Literally, the Kitchen Sink!
The fun just doesn't stop when you own a home. So my latest annoyance is the kitchen faucet! Really, the darn thing has the hot and cold water switched, it periodically doesn't work, and sometimes it just drizzles instead of flows. Gotta love the repairs a home needs! So off to hunt for faucets.

Dreaming of Flooring?!!!
I dream of hardwood or tile floors. This may not be a big deal and most of you
are probably thinking isn’t everyone, but no I literally will be having a dream
tonight about the ease of moping a hard wood or tile floor. Yes, I will dream of cleaning tonight,
largely due to my day today. Let me
start by saying, I run a daycare in my home, plus I have three large dogs. While the carpet is great for starting
crawlers, potential toddler falls, and warm feet it constantly gets dirty. So, why is this news, because the other day,
my eldest fur baby decided it was a wonderful idea to see what was under the
thin layer of rock along the fake grass in the back by digging a giant
hole.

Indoor Skating!
Indoor ice skating with wax paper boots
It’s cold outside or if you live in Arizona, it’s chilly and not snowy or icy. So, what do you do when you’re stuck in doors or have no winter wonderland to play in? You make one inside. If you have carpet or linoleum, then you can make the winter come inside.

Old Fashion Sock Puppets!
Old fashion sock puppets!
I knew we were going to bring books for the plane and made sure to pick some favorites for the kids, but what about toys? They take up so much room and losing a favorite toy can be a problem with a 1 ½ year old. So, what can you bring for a one year old to play with that you won’t care if it gets ruined or lost? Why not take a trip back to your own childhood and make some sock puppets?!!! They don’t have to be elaborate just silly!
