Where does the time in the day go? No matter how much I do, how fast I move their is always something that needs to be done. The more moving parts in your house the more little interruptions that come along and steal precious seconds from the rest of the to-do list. One thing that I always seem to have the worst time keeping up with is the dog dish. I have 3 dogs and they won't touch it for hours, then right when I am carrying a kid, laundry bin, and half a dozen other things I hear the slurping of the pups. Wouldn't you know it, they empty the darn thing in 5 minutes flat and now I need to fill it up again. It never ends! 
My children are all huge parts of my life. Not all of my children are human. I have 3 fur-babies, well they aren't really babies anymore. They are all rescues and medium to large dogs. They may be considered Senior by the Vet, but they are babies to me! They like to cuddle and to play, but with all the moving parts of my life I don't always get to entertain them as much as I like. I'm always excited to get them new toys to help make up for the time I want to spend with them. Sure they get daily walks and play time, but as with my human babies it just never feels like enough. 
I found this amazingly beautiful girl outside today! If I didn't already have 3 furbabies I would be hoarding her cuddles for myself. She is fawn colored with amber colored eyes. I would guess around 3 or 4? She is short but wide and I would put her about 45lbs. She is amazingly sweet to people, haven't tested with my dogs. She does seem to have recently given birth. She had no collar and no tags. I need help finding a rescue or foster person to help keep her out of the shelter. It would be even better to find her a permanent home, but I know that takes time. In May we took a day outing to Sunflower, AZ. Sunflower, AZ has a large portion of an old highway that is blocked off which makes the perfect place to take a stroller or let some babies run. If you are a birder it was the day of the raptor!

How do you know when a pet isn't just a pet, but another child? Well, I have always called my fur-babies, my fur-babies because that's what they are to me. Ever so often I catch sight of something that validates this in my head. Like one of my fur-babies falling asleep on a couch with a teddy bear that sings lullabies. I love these furry little/big ones of mine! They always love it when you are home, never give you space because they love you so, and are always up for play and exercise!
